Sacrifices were made both on the battlefield and at home.  Uncovered in the Honor Roll is a story long forgotten of the mothers whose sons were killed on the battlefields in France.  Sponsored by the United States Government by legislation enacted in 1929, these two mothers would venture overseas to visit the graves of their sons. In book two of the With our Boys series entitled Our Sons – The Gold Star Pilgrimage, their journey to say goodbye will be chronicled.
