Clarence S Baxter

Clarence S. Baxter was born on October 6, 1895.  He filled out a World War I draft registration card on June 5, 1917, as required by law. He married one year later on June 26, 1918, and was inducted into the United States Army on July 25, 1918. Clarence was sent overseas on August 26, 1918, and died of pneumonia on October 27, 1918, never setting foot on a battlefield. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
