William Devlamore Taylor was born on February 22, 1896, in Hamlin, New York. William was twenty-two when he was inducted into the United States Army from Spencerport, New York, and sent to Camp Devens, Massachusetts. He was released from military service and sent home on March 19, 1918, due to a physical disability. He passed away on
November 8, 1960, in Greece, New York.
